Emergency Management

Emergency Management

No one knows when a natural disaster may strike or what effects the current droughts will have on our food supply or if some of those who are entering our country illegally are coming to attack us.

It is only prudent to take wise steps to prepare for difficult times so we can minimize the impact of any such problem on our families and our neighbors.

Things to consider include learning first aid, sanitation to reduce the spread of disease, how to grow your own food, purifying your water as well as storing extra food, water, vitamins and meds.

It is also important to prepare a contact list of family and friends and have a way to communicate if cell phones are down and a place to meet if you have to leave your home.

It is essential that we understand the potential of any such event and that we join together in small groups to educate each other and help one another to prepare. The better we are prepared the more we can help others and the better off our communities will be.

The good news is we have done extensive research on emergency preparedness and have a booklet “Emergency Management – Preparing for the Coming Calamities” available. See our Resource page.
